Ratings: This wine has been awarded a Siler Medal at the Los Angeles County Fair Wine Competition 2006, Wine Spectator 90/100, Espresso 18,5/20, Mondo Weine der Welt 88/100, Gambero Rosso 2 glasses, Falstaff 89/100, Wein-Plus 84/100 "Sehr Gut", it has been selected by the Regional Authority amongst the best wines produced in Tuscany and awarded of the Diploma of Merit.

Classification: I.G.T Colli della Toscana Centrale (Supertuscan)

Grape Varieties Blend: Sangiovese 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%

Vinification: Separate fermentation for each variety on controlled temperature (25° to 30° C) without " governo".

Maturation and Refinement: French Oak (Allier, Nevers, Tronçais, Vosges) 60% and American Oak (West Cumberland) 40% barriques, then long refinement in bottle (1 year).

Bouquet: Cherry, currant, ripe fruits and tobacco character;

Flavour:  Full bodied with silky tannins and a long delicious licorish finish.
